A few weeks back I spent the day hanging out at Musicol, the oldest recording studio in Columbus and one of the last vinyl pressing factories in the US. Calling it a vinyl pressing factory may be a bit of an overstatement since its just a couple of guys in the basement of a 1950's model home but don't let its size or humble looks fool you - this place is legendary among musicians and audiophiles.
Head over to 614 Magazine to read about Musicol, how it weathered the digital music revolution, and why vinyl continues its resurgence even as more and more people get their music from places like Spotify.
